Suzanne Maguire oversees Newhouse's undergraduate advising office and handles all issues related to student advising, including petitions, leaves of absence, internship and independent study approvals, minor declarations, transfer credit evaluations and certification of undergraduate degrees.
Suzanne earned a bachelor’s degree in psychology and economics from Hobart and William Smith College in Geneva, New York and a master’s degree in higher education from Boston College in Chestnut Hill, Massachusetts.
Suzanne joined the undergraduate advising and records office at Newhouse in December 2016. Before coming to Newhouse, Suzanne held a variety of roles in student services and administration at Boston University, Simmons College and most recently MIT. After living in the Boston area for many years Suzanne and her family moved back to Syracuse where she grew up. Suzanne enjoys travel, food and spending time with family. She is a Red Sox, Patriots and SU fan!
