Natalie Dascoulias ’21 (she/her) returned to Newhouse as the assistant director of student success in the summer of 2024. 

Natalie's responsibilities include overseeing the Newhouse Awards, coordinating the annual Campus Media Fair, handling the budget for student professional organizations, organizing the Univeristy/Newhouse Scholar selection process, spring Newhouse Awards and the Student Representative Committee. She additionally works with the Newhouse Visitor’s Center, giving weekly presentations and participating in the many varied visiting days for prospective and admitted students, as well as help in the Career Development Center – rounding out all areas of student success.

Natalie is a 2021 broadcast and digital journalism graduate who was an active Newhouse Ambassador and IA and assisted with the fall 2021 ESSPA competition. In winter of her senior year, she started at NewsChannel 9 WSYR-TV as a digital reporter. After a year in news, Natalie realized her heart was in higher education. She joined the Maxwell School in winter ’22 as a digital content marketing specialist, quickly contributing to their online presence and winning a Maxwell “Rising Star Award” in her first year. In 2022, Natalie began working on her master’s in higher education in the School of Education. She is also working on a CAS in disability studies and is a First Year Seminar instructor for the University.
