Michael Krupat has built a career dedicated to developing innovative unscripted formats that have shaped the industry. As the creator and executive producer of "Chopped" (Food Network), Krupat helped pioneer a competition structure that set a new standard for unscripted competition programming and continues to influence the genre today.
Currently, Krupat serves as executive vice president of production and development at Beyond Productions, where he has played a pivotal role in expanding the company’s creative footprint. Under his leadership, Beyond has developed and sold a wide variety of series and specials across major networks and streaming platforms, including "Love Undercover" (Peacock), "Back in the Groove" (Hulu), "Pooch Perfect" (ABC), "My Lottery Dream Home" (HGTV), "No Recipe Road Trip with the Try Guys" (Food Network) and "My Kitchen Rules" (Fox).
Prior to joining Beyond, Krupat served as SVP of development and branded content at Ryan Seacrest Productions, managing its partnership with Procter & Gamble. Earlier in his career, he led the West Coast office of NorthSouth Productions, where he helped develop the hit series "Impractical Jokers." Krupat began his career as a true crime documentary producer at Court TV (now truTV). Krupat is a graduate of the Newhouse School.
