Lila Ward

Lila joined the Academic Advising Office in August of 2022. As an academic adviser, she helps students explore academic interests, identify campus resources and develop individual academic plans based on the student’s goals, interests and degree requirements. Additionally, Lila manages the advising and guidebook webpages.

Lila originally joined the Advising team as the office coordinator and moved to the role of academic adviser in December of 2023. In December of 2021, she earned a bachelor’s degree from the Newhouse School. Prior to transferring to Syracuse University, she earned an associate degree in liberal arts–psychology from SUNY Jefferson in 2019. Lila is currently in the CAS Intercollegiate Athletic Advising and Support program, in the School of Education at Syracuse University. Once she completes the Certificate of Advanced Study, she will be working towards a master’s in higher education.
