Jeff Federman is the regional president at Audacy, a leading multi-platform audio content and entertainment company with the country’s best collection of local music, news and sports brands, a premium podcast creator, major event producer and digital innovator. Audacy engages 200 million consumers each month, bringing people together around audio content that matters to them.
Federman has over 30 years of leadership experience working for Fortune 500 companies and co-founding several tech start-ups that led to successful exits. He has held various roles in broadcast and now resides as a regional president for Audacy California, which includes the company’s Los Angeles, Riverside, Sacramento, San Diego and San Francisco markets. Federman was responsible for the creative development of CHANNEL Q, an Audacy Original Station and the award-winning LGBTQ+ Talk Radio Network, along with a team of diverse activists within the company.
Federman is also the co-creator of several other initiatives within Audacy, including Justice Now - Communities to Unity, an on-air open discussion about various cultural and societal issues; Feed Our Families, a program to support families in California; Alternalido, Audacy’s national Latin alternative program; and other on-air programs and events.
Prior to joining the company in 2017, Federman co-founded several tech businesses, including DOSH, a card-linked offer platform; MOGL, the first cash-back reward network that tapped directly into point-of-sale systems; MojoPages, an original conquest tool for local businesses and Facebook marketing partner; and College Highlights, a licensed NCAA product available on campuses across the country, on-line and in retail stores.
Federman earned an advertising degree from San Diego State University and was certified in organizational leadership from The Wharton School.
