Elijah de Castro

Elijah is a multimedia reporter for Report for America, a nationally renowned project placing promising journalists in local newsrooms around the country to cover under-reported issues.  Elijah's reporting for WAER will focus on public health and health equity in Central New York.

As a reporter, Elijah covered public health and healthcare for the Keene Sentinel in Keene, New Hampshire, where he served as the lead reporter for the Monadnock Region Health Reporting Lab.  He received a bachelor of arts in journalism from Ithaca College.
