Chris Hannan is a highly accomplished and esteemed sports and media executive with an impressive track record in the industry. With an innate passion for sports and an extensive background in media, Hannan brings a wealth of expertise and a diverse skill set to the table. Hannan's versatility and adaptability have been key factors in his career progression. Recognizing the evolving nature of the sports industry, he seamlessly transitioned from traditional broadcast media to consumer products, digital platforms, pioneering new and innovative ways to engage with fans. His expertise in social media and digital content strategies played a crucial role in expanding the reach and impact of sports organizations across various platforms.

In addition to his media accomplishments, Hannan has also made significant contributions to the business side of the sports industry. Holding executive positions in major sports organizations, he has demonstrated exemplary leadership, spearheading strategic initiatives that have propelled these organizations to new heights. His ability to forge partnerships, negotiate complex deals and build strong relationships with stakeholders has proven instrumental in driving growth and generating substantial revenue.

Hannan is the head of sports for the Trailer Park Group, the industry leader in entertainment marketing and content production. Trailer Park harnesses the collective power of strategic, creative and production expertise across AV/content, design, gaming and experiential. Hannan was hired to lead Trailer Park’s expansion in the sports industry. Hannan leads the company’s strategic vision for the growth of their sports division by creating partnership opportunities with the top sports properties and partners, driving delivery across Trailer Park’s world-class production offering and best-in-class account management practices.

Hannan is also the founder of a Los Angeles based consulting agency Power Fade Marketing. The agency advises an array of clients across disciplines in marketing, mergers and acquisitions, investments and digital strategies. It guides early-stage companies with capital campaigns, devising company infrastructure and revenue growth strategy. Chris led Engine Vision Media with their acquisition of four Southern California based magazines overseeing the transition and building of their media company. He was executive producer on "Menendez Brothers: Victims or Villains," the four-part docuseries premiered March 2024 on FOX Nation. He is also an advisor to CoachList, a tech startup in the fitness and training industry.

Previously, Chris led the BIG3 Basketball league as CEO. He joined the BIG3 in January 2021 to lead the league’s return from the pandemic for its fourth season in the summer of 2021. Over two seasons as CEO, Chris led the league to TV viewership increases and sponsorship revenues surpassing its first three years prior to the pandemic. He ran all aspects of the BIG3 business including live event production, sales, broadcast rights, original content, digital, talent/players and league operations. Prior to the BIG3, Chris served as the chief marketing officer, at Hemp Hydrate. In this role with Hemp Hydrate, Chris oversaw the strategic marketing plan for an emerging brand in the rapidly growing CBD health and wellness marketplace. This included relaunching and managing the company’s e-commerce direct to consumer sales, retail partnerships and global distribution opportunities.

The majority of Chris’ career came with two companies. He spent three years as executive vice president, sales integration at Endeavor. In his role with Endeavor Global Partnerships division, Chris was tasked with creating content partnerships and revenue streams for WME/IMG properties and its clients. He generated and negotiated multi-million dollar deals with brands, content creators and distribution platforms across divisions including Steve Harvey Show, IMG College, Miss Universe, UFC, PBR and WME’s clients.

Prior to Endeavor, Chris served at FOX Sports for 19 years in a variety of marketing roles of increasing responsibility including his last post of executive vice president, communications and integration. Chris was responsible for the development of key strategic initiatives and cross-platform efforts on behalf of FOX Sports’ portfolio of businesses. Hannan was tasked with maximizing and integrating plans for many of the biggest events on the FOX Sports programming calendar, including college football, the World Series, the Daytona 500, the NFL and the Super Bowl. Hannan was instrumental in securing the USGA rights in 2013 and spearheaded execution across divisions in FOX Sports widely successful 2015 FIFA Women’s World Cup. He also oversaw FOX Sports Supports, managing the social impact and non-profit efforts for the company.

Hannan also served in a host of corporate marketing roles during his career at FOX Sports. He oversaw marketing for FOX Sports Regional Networks, where he streamlined corporate initiatives from the national headquarters to each of its 22 regional affiliates.  This included business development, sales, distribution and TV rights agreements with the leagues and teams.  Hannan also played a key leadership role in the launch of FOX Sports 1 and creating a social media division for FOX Sports digital.

One of Hannan’s most significant achievements was the creation of FOX Sports University, a curriculum-based partnership with major universities creating classes for students to gain real-world marketing, communications, and business experience. By the fall of 2016, the program had expanded to 38 universities across the country and has won multiple industry awards. This program was a key part of FOX’s expansion in college sports launching FOX College Properties, securing the multi-media rights for USC, Auburn and Michigan State.

Hannan has been honored for his work in sports media and marketing on numerous occasions.  He has won over 25 Promax, Telly and Addy awards for his work with FOX Sports.  In 2012, he was named to Sports Business Journal’s prestigious 40 Under 40 list and recognized as one of the rising stars in the sports industry under the age of 40.

Beyond his professional achievements, Hannan is deeply committed to giving back to the community. He actively supports various charitable organizations, leveraging his platform and influence to make a positive impact on society.

Hannan attended Syracuse University in New York, where he graduated with a B.S. in Speech Communications.
