Cecile Murias is a production executive and holistic practitioner whose career moves fluidly between media, healing and nonprofit work. She’s spent over a decade building and leading production teams at companies like Condé Nast Entertainment, Tastemade, Uninterrupted and Dentsu Creative, bringing a sharp eye for operations and appreciation for storytelling to projects across platforms and causes.
As SVP of Global Physical Production at Condé Nast Entertainment, she oversaw operations spanning editorial video, branded content, podcasts and film/TV for brands like Vogue, GQ and Bon Appétit. Her leadership drove international expansion, budget efficiencies and company-wide inclusion efforts. At Uninterrupted, she led high-profile projects for HBO, Netflix, ESPN, Fox Sports and DAZN. Prior to this, she helped launch international studios and Tastemade’s 24-hour linear channel, and produced the James Beard-nominated feature documentary "Funke."
Cecile Murias is a three-time Emmy® Award winner and Syracuse University alum who has produced for networks including Showtime, NBCUniversal, BET, Viacom and Food Network. Her projects span documentaries, branded campaigns and live broadcasts, all reflecting a clear through line of dedication to compelling storytelling, collaborative teams and using content to support nonprofit organizations and amplify their work.
She is a certified 200-hour yoga teacher, sound healing practitioner and Reiki Master. Her approach to healing is guided by intuition and shaped by her Cuban American roots. She weaves these practices into her leadership, using wellness as a way to stay grounded, build trust and care for her community.
At Syracuse University's Newhouse LA program, Cecile teaches The Art of Producing, a course that explores leadership, production management and the real-world application of creative and logistical skills. She shares her industry experience to help students understand both the creative and business sides of media while encouraging discussions around ethics, current trends and career development. Cecile is deeply committed to service. She sits on the advisory board of Prison Yoga + Meditation and volunteers with A Sense of Home, supporting young people as they transition out of foster care. Whether she's building production teams or creating space for healing, her work is rooted in the purpose to help people feel empowered and connected both on screen and beyond.
