Andrew Slade

Andrew Slade joined Syracuse University in June 2026 as a computer consultant with the S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications, working within Newhouse information and computing services.

He provides desktop, classroom, systems administration and server support for Newhouse faculty, staff and students, resolving technical requests and helping keep the school’s computing environment running reliably.

Before joining Newhouse, Slade worked as an IT intern at the Finger Lakes Boating Museum in Hammondsport, New York.

Andrew earned a bachelor’s degree in computer science, with a specialization in network and system administration, from St. Bonaventure University. He also holds a Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) certification.
