Amanda Lerch was born and raised in Syracuse. She attended SUNY Cortland and received a bachelor’s degree in public relations and advertising with a dual minor in Asian and Middle Eastern studies.
Before coming to Syracuse University, Amanda worked on the production crew at NewsChannel 9 in Syracuse and was a marketing assistant at BellCornerstone. She has also worked for the Blackbird Film Festival in Cortland, New York, as a film submission judge and event coordinator.
While studying abroad in India, Amanda interned at 107.8 Serang Radio as a producer, writer and on-air personality of the “American Students Take India” radio show.
Amanda enjoys cooking with some good tunes on in the background, watching documentaries and gardening.
