Scott Macfarlane ’98 was named congressional correspondent for CBS News.

Lani Diane Rich ‘98 published her book, “How Story Works: An elegant guide to the craft of storytelling.”

Brad Belstock ’99 was promoted to a full-time producer/writer at KGO-TV

Jason Benetti ’05 was named number one in the power rankings for Chicago sports broadcast media put out by the Chicago Sun-Times.


Ashley Moss G’10 joined KFOR in Oklahoma City as a reporter.

Kaci Sokoloff ’10 was announced as vice president of booking at CBS News.

Madison Carter ’16 worked on the investigative documentary series “A Different Cry,” which explores the suicide rates among Black youth in America.

Jamie Weiss ’17 joined the First News morning team at KMBC in Kansas City as a traffic anchor/reporter.


Emily Barnes ’21 accepted a position with the Binghamton Press & Sun Bulletin as a culture and changing neighborhoods reporter.
