Madison Neuner is a master’s student in the Newhouse School’s magazine, news and digital journalism program. They grew up in Liverpool, New York, and earned a B.A. in journalism and communication studies at Northeastern University. They were the editor-in-chief of the Red & Black sports magazine and a Division I runner at Northeastern. Madison gained an interest in First Amendment law and freedom of the press in coursework at Northeastern and Syracuse.

Richard Perrins is a senior pursuing a dual major in political science and magazine, news and digital journalism. He grew up just north of London in England, but now lives in Cleveland, Ohio. Richard has worked at several small publications as a staff writer, previously served as the editor-in-chief of The Daily Orange—Syracuse University’s independent student newspaper—and most recently worked as a data reporter for AccuWeather as part of the Dow Jones News Fund program.
