In 2016, the Newhouse Center for Global Engagement partnered with the Accountability Lab to provide visual storytelling residencies centered in Monrovia, Liberia; Kathmandu, Nepal; and Islamabad Pakistan.
The residents provided support to a variety of local programs, with a strong focus on the arts. Three summer-long visual storytelling fellowships were provided, along with one year-long communications fellowship in Nepal.
