The Television and Popular Culture Series, published by Syracuse University Press, presents serious, concise and readable books about popular TV as a creative and artistic medium.
Television programming is the major focal point of this series, which actively seeks books and book proposals on individual shows, specific genres, important auteurs and programming history. The goal is to present the stories of many of the creators of TV—the producers, the network executives, the directors and the writers. First-person accounts, interviews or thematic anthologies and collections will be commissioned. The series also reprints classic works.
