Ryan Maguire

As the front desk administrator in the academic advising office, Ryan greets guests, answers student and parent inquiries, assists with scheduling and overall paperwork and aids the advisors throughout the academic process. 

He joined Newhouse in 2024. Prior to working in the advising office, Ryan worked as an NYSBA summer intern at CNYCentral in the summer of 2023, which is where he shadowed various figures in and out of the newsroom. A major portion of his time there involved writing web stories for the site, and so in the fall he would utilize these skills to writing entertainment-based articles for Collider. He then started as a studio manager in Newhouse in the fall of 2023, which involved aiding various productions in the school and especially within Orange Television Network. 

He just earned an M.A. in television, radio and film from the S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications, and before this, received a B.A. in cinema and screen studies from SUNY Oswego.
