Bio: Gentry studies political communication and the news. Her areas of focus are news media trust, public opinion, and local news. She’s interested in why individuals trust messages and the role of journalists play in public discourse. Jamie came to research after working as a newspaper journalist and editor at an independent paper in northwest Florida.
