What she teaches...

Soo Yeon Hong teaches introductory graphic design, social media, visual communications theory, and multimedia storytelling courses to undergraduate, graduate, and military students. She brings into the classroom an unusual element of diversity, given her Ph.D. training in communications from Newhouse, her PR and graphic design expertise gained in her earlier professional career, and her creative writing skills learned from National Book Award and Pulitzer Prize-winning authors.
