Donna Cardarelli teaches part-time in the online M.S. in communications program, serving as instructor for the Advertising and Public Relations Research Design course and Public Relations Theory course. With professional experience in Russia, China, and Portugal, Cardarelli specializes in international public relations and public policy issues. She brings a wealth of global perspectives to the classroom. Cardarelli is currently based in Cambridge, MA, where she manages research programs at the Davis Center for Russian and Eurasian Studies at Harvard University. Previously, Cardarelli served as associate director of communications for an educational nonprofit in China, and she also worked for General Motors in Detroit with the advanced propulsion and technology communications team.
Prior to earning her master's degree in public relations at Newhouse, Cardarelli was awarded a Fulbright Scholarship to conduct research in the Russian Federation. She studied Russian and Chinese languages, history, and culture at Hamilton College, where she earned her undergraduate degree.
