Chris Hanson is an associate professor of English in the College of Arts and Sciences, and one of its film and screen studies faculty members. He worked for a number of years in video game, esports and software development, and later assisted with the planning and production of a series and content for PBS. His research and teaching focus on game studies, esports, digital media, television and avant-garde film and video.
