Alexis Trujillo

Alexis Trujillo manages a portfolio of leadership annual prospects and donors while working closely with SU Advancement and External Affairs (AEA) teams to identify, qualify, cultivate, solicit, and steward donors. As ADOD she oversees the Newhouse School’s annual fund messaging and identifies and develops new initiatives and fundraising efforts for appeals such as Boost the` Cuse and the Make Your Mark campaigns. Additionally, Alexis manages Newhouse volunteer leadership groups, including the Newhouse 44 Emerging Leaders, and collaborates with SU Alumni Engagement and the Newhouse events team, and works with Newhouse’s communications department to promote giving and to profile alumni in multiple communication channels.

Alexis joins us from Arizona State University Foundation where she served as assistant director of development for engagement and outreach and previously as recruitment and admissions coordinator for the Walter Cronkite School of Journalism and Mass Communications. Alexis holds a B.A. in journalism and mass communications from the Cronkite School.
