Two Newhouse undergraduate students place in top 15 in Hearst photojournalism competition
Junior Priscilla Kang and senior Lauren Miller, both majoring in photography, placed in the top 15 in the Hearst Picture Story/Series competition.
Kang took 11th place for her photo story, “The Strength of Family,” about a Syracuse businessman with multiple sclerosis.
Miller tied for 12th place for her work on NNY360’s “Organic farming brings food home: COVID pandemic sparks interest in where food comes from.”
