Jiang, D’Angelo inducted to Arthur W. Page Society

Hua Jiang, associate professor and interim chair of public relations, and Anthony D’Angelo, professor of practice in public relations and director of communications management, were both inducted into the Arthur W. Page Society, a prestigious communications association for chief communications officers, agency presidents and leading academics.

The Page Society has strict criteria for membership, which for educators include significant published works, elected positions in professional associations and university leadership positions.

Jiang’s research expertise focuses on corporate communication practices and statistics consulting, and she has published more than 40 peer-reviewed journal articles and book chapters. She has also received over 10 top paper awards and research recognitions from national and international flagship communication associations.

D’Angelo is co-chair of the Commission on Public Relations Education, and served as 2018 national chair of the Public Relations Society of America (PRSA). His writing on the importance of strategic communications to organizational leadership have appeared in BusinessWeek, the Financial Times and The Public Relations Strategist, and he was a regular contributor to The Wall Street Journal’s “Crisis of the Week” column.
