Roy Gutterman, associate professor of magazine, news and digital journalism and Tully Center director, organized and spoke on a panel on “Hot Topics in Media Law” at the Society of Professional Journalists Region 1 virtual conference on Saturday, April 10. His co-speaker was media lawyer Mike Grygiel, partner with Greenberg Traurig in Albany.
Gutterman also spoke at the New England Newspaper and Press Association regional conference on April 9 on a panel, “Libel: What Every Reporter Should Know,” with Robert Bertsche, media lawyer with Boston’s Prince Lobel.
