Marty Glickman Award for Leadership in Sports Media

The Newhouse School will present the 2024 Marty Glickman Award for Leadership in Sports Media to Dan Hoard ’85, radio voice of the Cincinnati Bengals and the University of Cincinnati. ESPN’s Sean McDonough ’84 will be presenting the award.

We will also be announcing this year’s recipient of the Beth Mowins Award in Sports Media. This scholarship was created to foster and support young women in sports media and communications.

Sponsored by the Newhouse Sports Media Center, the Glickman Award is named for sportscasting pioneer Marty Glickman, a 1939 alumnus of Syracuse University.
