Bandier Program for Recording and Entertainment Industries majors study music industry topics such as copyright, music publishing, record companies, entertainment contracts, music licensing, touring, and music marketing, as well as others. You will master the fundamentals along with the more advanced dynamics of music industry distribution, marketing and monetization. You will have the opportunity to travel the world and embed in top music industry markets. 

The Bandier bachelor’s program curriculum is laser-focused on creating hands-on, industry-facing opportunities for students, from the three required internships to the capstone class where you will create your own real-world, revenue-generating music business.

Developing Your Music Industry Network

Our alumni find work all over the industry, including record labels, artist management firms, streaming platforms, music publishers, and live music agencies and promoters. Each of these sectors require the type of well-rounded industry education you will learn as part of the Bandier undergraduate program. And former Bandier students are working at every level of all of these sectors. These jobs prioritize previous hands-on experience and require the skills you will learn in the Bandier program. 

Bandier International Immersion Trip

The Bandier International Immersion Trip offers students a unique opportunity to explore foreign countries and gain insights into the diversity of life and the music industry. The trip is usually focused on key emerging markets. The most recent trip encompassed more than 40 on-site company meetings in Thailand, Vietnam, Indonesia and Singapore, and allowed students to learn these markets and immerse themselves in distinct cultures, within professional settings and beyond.
