TNH has local and national clients that include Tide, Doritos and Bacardi. The nearly 20-year-old agency gives students hands-on experience in all aspects of an advertising agency, from strategic planning and audience analysis to media planning, campaign creation and client pitches. It is an excellent opportunity for students to develop professional, real-world experience.
Made up of some of SU’s most ambitious advertising, research, design and production talent, TNH only does work for real clients. TNH teams communicate directly with clients to achieve their short-term business goals. TNH is a student organization, but it follows a real-world ad agency structure with deadlines and deliverables. Members can explore roles and leadership positions in creative, strategy, and account management.
Students at TNH are connected to past members through outreach and development programs as well as events where TNH advertising alumni discuss the working world and give insight into how to leverage their TNH experience. Annual TNH alumni events provide members with exclusive networking opportunities and insight into early career strategies.
Seniors at TNH get an exclusive early look into agency life and insight into the advertising roles with a benchmark trip to New York City. Students visit several ad agencies or media conglomerates, usually two each day. Visits to agencies can include a tour, Q&A, networking opportunity, panel, or another event.
